This guide is not a primer on how to author Web pages... there are already many excellent resources available on this CD-ROM as well as the Internet that will help your teams create their own Web projects.

If you are interested in learning more about the technical development of a Web site, the following links provide a wealth of information for both the beginner and the pro.

Web Authoring/Design

One of the first places you should visit is the Web Design and HTML Tools and Guides section of this guide's Resource Library. These resources alone should get you well on your way to developing your Web project. World Wide Web Consortium W3C

This is the source for all information regarding development on the Web. Originally conceived to develop common protocols on the Internet, the W3C also provides:
